Fukugawa-Seiji in Arita (Porcelein Capital of the World)

I painted my own plate. It says "Schwarze" in Kanji and I decorated it with a Cherry Blossom branch. Lot of fun!
Later I had lunch at a very nice Japanese restaurant. I had chicken in what tasted like a carrot sauce. Very good! The bowl that looks like it has mash potatoes and gravy is actually tofu with a sauce, the turquoise bowl had some pickled roots, the black bowl was egg cooked with fish and mushrooms, the bright blue and white plate is a roll and the middle plate was a slice of bread with some kind of jam.

The dessert was excellent as well. It was a lemon cake and lemon sorbet. YUM!

After all that eating, I needed to do some shopping. In this case it was mostly window shopping... everything was extremely expensive!

After the shopping, I went to a cinema to watch a puppet show. The puppets were all made of porcelein and the entire show was electronically ran.

Some of the puppets.
